Navistar is a leading producer of commercial trucks, mid-range diesel engines, school buses, motor homes and step vans. They also private-label design and manufacture diesel engines for the pickup truck, van and sport utility markets. Navistar selected Penske as its lead logistics provider (LLP) due to its expertise with automotive and truck-related supply chains. Penske's efforts helped Navistar reduce its inbound supply chain expenditures by 17 percent annually, and its line-side support helped boost production by more than 250 percent.
