Mission Foods is among the world's largest processors of tortillas and widely known for its quality. Operations in Mexico, United States and Central America demanded Mission Foods streamline its transportation costs and develop key performance metrics for several production plants. Penske Logistics helped design a uniform set of transportation procedures and leveraged its technologies to enhance supply chain visibility and benchmark progress. Penske's solutions and execution delivered more than $5.3 million in total transportation savings while maintaining a 99 percent on-time delivery rate.
