Penske Logistics returned, for the third year in a row, as the premier sponsor at the 2017 Automotive Logistics South America Summit at the Tivoli São Paulo hotel, Brazil, on November 28, 2017.
This conference connects automotive OEMs, tier suppliers, policymakers and logistics service providers, where they will share best practices for running more efficient auto supply chains.
Penske Logistics Managing Director Paulo Sarti served as a panelist in the opening session titled, Preparing for the Future, which provided analysis on the changes taking place in the South American automotive sector and the subsequent impact on the supply chains that serve it. Sales Director Fabricio Orrigo hosted one of several think tank sessions.
"As a leading provider of automotive logistics and supply chain solutions, we were excited to showcase our expertise specific to the market in Brazil,” explained Sarti, who is based in São Paulo. “We collaborated with other industry leaders, influencers, clients and prospects at the hallmark event."
"With brighter times ahead for South America's automotive sector, the importance of this conference cannot be overestimated," said Louis Yiakoumi, Automotive Logistics publisher. "By bringing together federal and regional governments, industry associates, vehicle makers, parts suppliers and logistics service providers; we collectively evaluated the strategies that will best support the industry’s recovery."
