While Knoll improved pricing, its delivery reliability was poor. Transportation costs were eroding any potential savings. Penske Logistics engineered an innovative, cost-effective international transportation management process. Penske's solution generated freight savings and increased order visibility, yielding nearly a 50 percent reduction in air freight requirements.
