A distribution center is like a bridge between suppliers and customers and is a key part of the distribution chain. Because these centers typically handle such large quantities of inventory, they often stay up to date with the latest inventory technology to maintain organization.

Penske Logistics has added three industry honors to its list of recognitions during the month of August. Logistics Management has recognized the company's transportation management and warehousing solutions, while SupplyChainBrain has added Penske to its 100 Great Supply Chain Partners listing.
