What Are Greenhouse Gas Emissions?

Understand how Greenhouse Gas Emissions fit into the supply chain

Greenhouse gas emissions refer to the release of greenhouse gases like water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone by humans into the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, become trapped in the atmosphere leading to an increase in overall temperature. A clear route to greener supply chain networks is to reduce the volume of fossil fuels, which turn into greenhouse gases, burned by freight vehicles.
