What Is Exception Management?

Exception management involves the detecting and addressing of service anomalies before they develop into costly disruptions. It is critical to the efficiency of freight networks as in today's fast-paced logistics environment, there is little room for error, and the ability to manage and eliminate these red flags is more important than ever. Excellent visibility into a supply chain is a must when trying to spot, assess or manage freight movement inconsistencies.
